Innovative Display & Production Company Seeks Prepress Supervisor to join our creative team. . This position requires expert knowledge and experience with laying out, cutting and mounting vinyl to various materials.
The ideal candidate should possess leadership qualifications, able to work independently as well as part of a team, manage workload with short lead times, problem solve, and work with the other Creative Departments, this position reports to the Vice President of Production.
Responsibilities include:
- managing a print shop assistant
- liaising with other dept. heads on all relevant projects
- preflight customer files
- prepress files for production
- prepare proofs
- operate RIPs (Onyx)
- graphic and vinyl installation in house and on site
- operate large format printing & cut vinyl machines
- maintain large format printing equipment
-able to laminate and mount
Ideal candidate:
- 5+ years’ experience in printing/vinyl industry
- Knowledge of Vinyl and relative materials.
- proficient in MAC & Windows
- knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat
- knowledge of CMYK, RGB, and Spot colors
- AutoCAD & Rhino are a huge plus
- understanding of digital, and large format printing
- excellent eye for color
- maintains a positive working attitude

Must have a flexible schedule as hours may vary. Some late evenings and or weekend work may be required. This is not a 9 to 5 job.
