Exciting opportunity for a talented, and motivated designer to work on our boy’s line that consists of many sets, tops, and bottoms. You will be responsible for creating designs from concept through to finished product. This person must be familiar with young men’s fashion and trends and be able to translate that into boys. Must have experience designing your own graphics and prints.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work with the team and coordinate the design process from concept to execution.
Ability to identify upcoming trends and create innovative and on trend concepts for Boys’ apparel including Toddler, 4-7 and 8-18.
Design initial graphics, prints and color direction across all brands.
Translate your ideas using Photoshop or illustrator
Prepare product tech packs that meet design and costing budgets
Adhere to a design schedule that ensures programs are following the development calendar
Research emerging trends via trend services, internet, shopping, and social media
Follow through the approval process, insuring they are coordinated among different fabrics, trims and product categories are approved working with production
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years plus experience in designing boys and/or young men’s clothing.
Detailed oriented and a keen eye for trends
Graphic design. Ability to create your own graphics and prints.
MS Office and Microsoft Excel, Photoshop Illustrator
