Multi language Staff Attorneys – for a large law firm client.
Multi language staff attorneys will work on teams in document review/production projects. French, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Arabic fluency required.
Position can be remote, but candidates must live within commuting distance to an office. Positions available in New York City, Washington, DC, Boston, MA, San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA and Palo Alto, CA.
Candidates must be fluent in one of the following languages in addition to English - French, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Arabic. Candidates must have at least one year of document review experience including QC and privilege log/review experience. Candidates must be an active/current member of the NY bar, in good standing (or DC or CA or MA bar depending on state where candidate lives).
This position is remote, but candidates must live within commuting distance to the NYC, DC, or Boston, office for occasional in-office work and team meetings.
Duties: Review/analyze/categorize and annotate and/or redact documents and other informational materials in document review database systems, or hard-copy document collections. Assist in preparation of privilege and redaction logs. Draft outlines/memoranda relating to fact discovery issues and findings. Assist with quality control and review metrics reporting processes.Work with litigation support staff and e-discovery vendors to resolve operational issues with the document collections, databases, and review systems in use.
Requirements: Must have at least one full year of document review experience. Priv log/review experience ideal. Fluency in one of the above listed languages. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and writing skills. Experience with discovery document review purpose and typical workflows, with an understanding of the rules and application of attorney-client and work product privilege. Experience with document review systems such as Relativity, Documatrix, FTI's Ringtail, or similar document review software tools. Flexibility to work overtime as necessary. Salary is $90k - $110k, plus paid overtime, and generous employee benefits
