Busy plaintiff’s personal injury law office in Forest Hills, Queens seeking an experienced (1+ yrs) SPANISH SPEAKING paralegal to assist and potentially manage a high volume of cases from intake through trial.
Daily tasks may include:
Conducting intakes with new clients;
Opening claims with insurance carriers;
Drafting letters of representation;
Filing NF applications;
Assisting clients with lost wage and property damage claims;
Calendaring meetings;
Requesting and reviewing medical records;
Maintaining IME/EUO calendars;
Responding to insurance adjusters; defense counsel and other administrative tasks.
Heavy contact with clients and working personally with managing attorney.
Requirements are: 1+ years of personal injury paralegal experience. MUST be able to speak Spanish fluently. Fast paced, professional and supportive environment. Must have strong communication and organizational skills. General knowledge of litigation documents and processes preferred, but not required. Notary is a plus.
