DC immigration law firm expands to New York seeking versatile and experienced immigration attorney to join.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients with a focus on employment-based immigration cases covering all gamut of employment-based petitions ranging from EB1A, EB1B, EB1C to EB5 as well as non-immigrant status applications including H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, O-1, E2 and others. - - Respond to request for additional evidence and file AAO appeals.
- Communicate with existing and potential clients to devise sound immigration solutions to gain market adhesion for business expansion.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in good standing. High proficiency with skills in appellate writing.
- Familiarity with employment-based immigration processes and requirements;
- Experience in asylum cases, including master and individual hearings preferred.
- Proficiency in foreign languages preferred.
