Position Title: Inventory Manager
Reports To: Director of Production & Director of Sales
Supervises: Production Associates
Primary Objectives:
The Inventory Manager is responsible for receiving, labeling, photographing, and storing incoming inventory, assessing stock for damage, maintaining accurate inventory records, and helping fulfill customer orders. This role involves updating inventory software, managing repairs, and tracking incoming/outgoing stock. The Manager should promptly address inventory issues and maintain steady stock levels.
Requirements:
Experience/Work History: Warehouse or inventory management experience; familiarity with the event industry and prop building is a plus.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Skills: Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in inventory software; physical stamina; ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Other: Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and operate ladders/scissor lifts.
Responsibilities:
Manage incoming inventory, including receiving, processing, and storing items.
Maintain accurate inventory records in the software system.
Inspect inventory for damage and track repairs.
Assist with order preparation, shipments, and deliveries.
Communicate with departments regarding incoming shipments and inventory needs.
