NYC based traffic data collection company is looking to hire immediately new fall staffing. We're looking to fill an entry-level position for self-motivated, hard-working individuals. This position is for full-time and part-time, technicians. This job requires knowledge of traveling throughout the Tri-State area with a company vehicle. A driver's license and clean driving record is a must.
Applicants must have an open schedule to accommodate weekday, weekend, early morning, daytime, nighttime or mixed work assignments. The Field Technician will be taught to install various types of traffic data collection equipment. Most work involves installing temporary traffic counter road tubes, occasional manual counts and video cameras on street segments to record vehicle volumes.
The applicant must be able and willing to lift 50 lbs.
No prior experience is needed, but driving and/or installation experience a plus.
Basic computer knowledge and good communication skills are needed for this position. On-site training will be conducted at our New York City office. Looking for staff near the Flushing / Bayside, Queens, NY area.
