Looking for a cleaner for daily early morning cleaning of a spa business in Brooklyn starting at 6:30am for approximately 4-5 hours. We pay a flat rate of $75 per day that you work. You will be paid on a 1099, which means we will not take oout taxes, but you will be responsible for your own payments/expense reporting to the IRS. If you are a good cleaner, the entire facility should be able to clean in approximately 2-3 hours. We open our doors to the public at 10am and all cleaning must be done thoroughly before 10am. There is no opening late!
After we open for the day you will have a few tasks to do that are appropriate to do while open.
Duties include:
- sweeping and mopping two locker rooms, main hallway, service rooms, kitchen and pool deck
-wash dishes
- wash out the showers and wipe down bathroom surfaces
-clean toilets
-wipe down all benches, seating areas, and door knobs with disinfectant
- disinfect and washout the steam room
- clean the saunas
- changing the laundry
- small odd jobs (touch-up painting, deep cleaning, window washing)
REQUIREMENTS
You must be a reliable person who shows up on time, is consistent, and can be trusted with a key to the building.
You must have experience cleaning large, commercial facilities. It is a skill, and if you have never done it before please do not apply.
You must be available at least six days a week for this job.
