Job Summary:
We are currently seeking motivated individuals with experience in residential moving to join our team as Driver's Helpers. As a Driver's Helper, you will work alongside our experienced drivers to assist with residential moves in the Bronx and Brooklyn areas. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Assist the driver in loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and other household items onto and off of the moving truck.
Safely transport items to and from residential locations, ensuring that they are properly secured during transit.
Pack and unpack items as needed, using appropriate packing materials and techniques to prevent damage.
Navigate residential neighborhoods and tight spaces to access pickup and delivery locations.
Communicate effectively with the driver, customers, and other team members to ensure a smooth moving process.
Handle furniture and fragile items with care, using proper lifting and carrying techniques to avoid injury and damage.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both inside the truck and at job sites.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in residential moving or a related field preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to [insert weight] pounds) repeatedly throughout the day.
