What You’ll Do
Prepare Menu Items – Cook and assemble dishes to IKEA-Food standards, always following food-safety and sustainability guidelines.
Serve Guests – Answer questions, process payments, and offer product knowledge while adhering to cash-handling policies.
Maintain Equipment – Clean, inspect and troubleshoot kitchen equipment to keep it running smoothly.
Dish & Utensil Care – Wash and sanitize dishes, silverware, pots, pans and trays to meet food-safety standards.
Keep It Spotless – Ensure dining, play and market areas stay tidy, organized and inviting.
Merchandise the Swedish Food Market – Stock shelves, rotate products, update prices and set up samples.
Stock & Inventory – Follow FIFO and expiration-date rules; assist with receiving goods and monthly inventory counts.
Safety First – Follow all hygiene, sanitation and workplace-safety protocols, reporting issues promptly.
What You’ll Need
2–3 years of food-service, retail or high-volume customer-service experience (preferred).
Basic knowledge of merchandising and selling concepts.
Food Handler Certification/Card (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire, as required).
Strong attention to detail, solid work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
