This Yard Person position requires being able to drive equipment and keep the yard clean and organized. The Yard Person must be able to work outside exposed to various types of weather. The right candidate will have good people skills, have perfect attendance and follow directions.
· Report any damage to equipment found during check-ins to the supervisor/manager.
· Stages equipment for deliveries
· Ensures yard and shop are neat and picks up yard/shop waste
· Must be able to proficiently and safely operate all equipment
· Assist yard check-ins and check-outs
· May be required to drive company vehicle on occasions
· Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis
Separate and move items according to correct locations within the recycling yard with appropriate equipmentbobcats, forklifts, etc.
Qualifications:
· Must a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
· must have skills to work with hands
· Must possess good organizational skills
· Must be a highly motivated self-starter
· Must be able to safely operate equipment
· Must be able to follow directions.
