Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Midtown, Manhattan

Job Details: Hybrid, Temp to Possible Perm

Payrate: $35/HR

Hours: Mon - Fri, 9am to 5pm

Job Summary

High end real estate company is seeking a temporary HR Generalist who is detail-oriented and proactive to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions, including on-boarding, employee relations, leave management, and benefits administration. This position requires a detail-oriented and service-oriented individual who is a team player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Screen and onboard employees.

- Assist in management of Disability, Worker's Compensation, Paid Family Leave, and FMLA medical leaves for a blue-collar unionized workforce.

- Manage and document return to work, review requests for accomodations, and advise employees on applicable benefits and employer reps on the appropriate responses in compliance with Federal and State Laws and union contracts.

- Maintain confidential electronic employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.

- Utilize HR software ADP Workforce for data management and reporting purposes.

- Research, gather and respond to subpoenas, employment verifications, etc.

Requirements

- Proven experience in human resources management or a related field.

- Strong organizational/project management skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency with ADP Workforce is preferred.

- Excellent data analysis skills to support decision-making processes.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining confidentiality.

-College Degree preferred
