Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Part Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The pharmacist will ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications while providing exceptional patient care. The Pharmacist must have a strong commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and address medication-related concerns.
- Provide counseling and education to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and other relevant information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Monitor drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications to prevent adverse reactions.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy team members to manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a well-organized and efficient pharmacy operation.
Requirements:
-Current and valid NYS pharmacist license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and ensuring patient safety.
