We are looking to hire for a NURSE PRACTITIONER for a PRIMARY CARE PRACTICE
LOCATION: WOODSIDE, QUEENS NEW YORK
VERY ACCESSIBLE TO TRAIN
NP: available days MON TO SAT 8:30 to 1:00 PM
PART TIME or FULL TIME
Schedule is negotiable and flexible
QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner certificate or Licensed Physician Assistant certificate
No experience required but willing to be trained
Experience in primary care setting is a plus
Active NY State License (required)
Must have strong patient assessment, patient management, documentation and organizational skills (required)
Bilingual English, Spanish (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations
Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
Utilize electronic medical record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate records
Strong knowledge of PREVENTIVE SCREENING USPSTF Recommendations
Proficiency in performing EKG, IV infusion, Injection of medications, Minor surgery, Interpretation of Spirometry
Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques and medication administration protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Spanish and English speaking doctor encouraged)
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
Assist with airway management and emergency response as necessary
Participate in discharge planning and provide patient education on post-treatment care
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare practices and technologies
