Requirements / Qualifications
Must be currently license in NY as a Register Professional Nurse (Required).
2+ years of RN experience (Required).
Bilingual English / Spanish (Required).
Have a flexible schedule and be willing to pick up teaching shifts if necessary.
Previous supervision of home health aides, home care, or training of home health aides is a plus, not mandatory.
Must have patience and work well with people in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing home health care training to students.
Create flexible teaching techniques that can meet the learning capacity for each student.
Maintain records of students’ attendance and their progress.
Evaluate the students’ classroom and clinical performance.
Effectively communicate with students, supervisors, and other staff members.
Provide a conducive learning and orderly atmosphere maximizing retention of students.
