Job Type: Part-Time (Weekdays Only)
We are expanding our fully digital and fee-for-service dental practice and seeking a compassionate, skilled dental hygienist to join our team. You will play a vital role in providing the best dental care to our patients, and the ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and have some knowledge in digital dentistry.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern dental practice that values innovation and patient care. A minimum of 3 years hygiene experience is a must.
Responsibilities:
-Active care of hygiene patients
-Intraoral digital impressions
-Set up & break down of rooms
-Assisting with sterilization of instruments/restocking during down time
-Taking quality, diagnostic digital intraoral and cone-beam x-rays
-Record patient medical & dental history
-Writing of digital clinical notes
-Help manage inventory of hygiene supplies and equipment
-Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols in accordance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
-High school diploma, or the equivalent, AND completion of a department-registered dental hygiene licensure program, or a dental hygiene program accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA).
-Minimum of 3 years working in a dental practice
-Proven experience with digital dentistry, including intraoral scanning, digital radiography
-Proficiency in using dental software and computerized practice management systems
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
-Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of practice
