Over 100 year old, 4 generation family dental practice specializing in prosthodontics looking for an experienced, motivated, full-time dental assistant.
Warm, comfortable environment with a close-knit friendly vibe among all that work here. The office is conveniently located on 58th St and Lexington Ave in Manhattan near the 4, 5, 6, Q, N, R, W, E and F subway lines.
Needed skills:
- Both prosthodontic and surgical experience in assisting for effective four-handed dentistry
- Take dental x-rays as needed
- Sterilization and disinfection of instruments
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment
- Preparing materials, experience with impression making
- Proficiency in using dental software systems for patient management and documentation
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and experience with dental laboratory procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, reliable, motivated, hard working, team-player who can contribute positively to our group.
