Location: 86th Street, Brooklyn, NY

Job Type: Part-Time (25 hours/week) with potential to develop into Full-Time

Description:

A Physical Therapy office located on 86th Street in Brooklyn is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist fluent in both Cantonese/Chinese and English to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing a welcoming and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle emails and answer phone calls in a timely and professional manner.

Schedule patient appointments and manage the calendar.

Add new patients to the EMR system accurately.

Check patients in for their appointments and verify their eligibility for physical therapy services.

Handle pre-authorization processes for treatments.

Maintain office KPI records.

Demonstrate excellent computer skills to manage office software and databases.

Provide courteous, friendly, and welcoming service to all patients.

Handle the ordering and management of office supplies.

Ensure the office is tidy and clean at all times.

Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth office operations.

Qualifications:

Fluent in both English and Cantonese/Chinese.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Friendly, courteous, and welcoming personality.

Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Experience in a medical office is important; however, we will provide the training and resources required to ensure you excel in your role.
