Summary:
Rose Drug Store and Grace Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Tech in our Pharmacy Store in the Bronx to meet the needs of our patients and customers by providing efficient, caring, professional and cost-effective services in an environment that encourages teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
providing high quality customer service to patients and doctors.
Assisting pharmacists in checking and filling prescriptions, answering questions and requests.
Maintaining pharmacy inventory.
Performing computer data entry of prescription information.
Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Organizing medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions.
Contributing to team effort and willingness to be flexible to support dynamic needs of a small growing company.
Must be willing to work every other Saturday.
Requirements Skills/Qualifications-
No experience needed in Retail Pharmacy.
High School Diploma or GED Certification required.
Must be able to meet physical demands of job, which can include light lifting, and sitting and standing for long periods of time.
Integrity, Attention to Detail, Dependability, Quality Focus, Proactive, Strong Work Ethic, Team Player, Able to Work Independently.
Bilingual in Spanish
