Part-Time 1 P.M. - 6 P.M. Monday to Friday and every other Saturday 9 A.M. - 4 P.M.)

Applicants must be proficient in copays, deductibles, and all aspects of eligibility/benefits
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed
- Provide front desk coverage and handle inquiries from patients and staff
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience working a medical front desk
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Proficient in medical administrative support tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing records
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to navigate medical office software (e.g., Practice Fusion)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
