Job Duties:
Submit billing for various payers
Process billing data for Medicare/Medicaid & Managed Care claims
Ensure that all billing data was entered accurately prior to claims submission
Complete billing within required time frames
Verify insurance claims for hospice services
Maintain Accounts Receivable & process contract invoices
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency
Strong customer service skills
Communicate efficiently and effectively
Understanding of hospice benefits requirements
Collaborate with others within department to achieve departmental and organizational goals
