Family is seeking in home Respite workers (HHA's , HA's, PCA's, CNA's to assist with a young adult with special needs. Family will train regarding routine. The following duties will be required : socialization,changing bed linens and folding laundry etc. . Candidate should possess the following: Positive Energy and Demeanor, Motivation, be able to follow directions, be a team player , have good communication skills and be able to FULLY commit to one of the following schedules:
Shift 1: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays overnights 6pm to 6am
Shift 2: Sunday , Monday and Tuesday overnights from 6pm to 6am.
In addition both shifts will cover two Wednesdays per month, overnight from 6pm to 6am.
Please do not apply if you cannot commit to being fragrance free and follow scent free protocol for the well being of the patient . Must be able to stay awake during the overnight shift .There is a second respite worker per shift to facilitate care.
