Responsibilities:
Taking care of all office calls and emails
Manage patient appointments (scheduling, canceling, confirming, etc.)
Manage the flow of daily schedules (register patients, ensure that all necessary forms are completed and signed)
Knowledge of insurance reimbursements; insurance verification, provide insurance information to patients
Completing and filing insurance forms and billing records, managing insurance claims
Collection from patients before and after the appointment
Maintain front-desk invoices
Document filing, scanning
Tracking daily and monthly production and collection; follow-up on collectibles
Skills required:
Knowledge of dental insurance verification and claims management is a must
Strong phone and in-person communication and motivation
Excellent computer skills for email correspondence, financial transactions and scheduling of appointments
Ability to multi task
Maturity, integrity, professional conduct and respect for patient confidentiality (HIPPA)
Educational requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
