Bar and Smith Dental is a comprehensive dental practice with two locations, one in Gramercy and one in the Upper East Side of New York City. We offer patients a modern, personalized approach to oral health care. Specializing in comprehensive dental care, the practice provides a number of preventive, cosmetic, restorative, and emergency dental services.
Help us expand our team! We are seeking a Dental Assistant with a minimum of one year experience. The ideal candidate will take initiative, be responsible, work hard, and be committed to working well within a team.
Dental Assistant duties:
Assist the Dentist with a variety of treatment procedures
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Adhere to all OSHA safety policies and procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Take radiographs
Set up operatories for restorative cases, oral surgery and full mouth rehabilitation
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
