Soda Fountain / Ice Cream Soda Jerk

The Brooklyn Farmacy and Soda Fountain is looking for a few experienced ice cream scoopers to round out our fall team. Full time and weekend availability preferred. Part time with weekend and evening availability considered. Housed in a restored 1920s apothecary in Carroll Gardens, the Brooklyn Farmacy attracts customers from all over the world, with an equally strong attraction to being a neighborhood hot spot.We are best known for our ice cream and fountain delicacies, building sundaes and mixing sodas on the spot. We are seeking a strong customer service oriented person who has an equally strong work ethic. We are seeking someone who is quick with a smile and has the ability to work with grace (and a sense of humor) under pressure. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed. Interest in soda fountains, small businesses, retro fashion and community a plus. We look forward to hearing from you!
