Narkara is a new upscale casual Thai restaurant set to open in August, in Union Square, New York City. Our restaurant draws inspiration from the Mekhong Delta region, with a focus on the distinct flavors of Northern and Northeastern Thailand. With a seating capacity of around 140, Narkara aims to immerse guests in the vibrant culture and culinary traditions of this unique part of Thailand.
We are currently looking for passionate hospitality professionals to join our grand opening!
The ideal candidates will have minimum 2 years experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment, excellent communicator, attention to detail and a team player.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Greet all guests and explain our menus and offerings
A strong sense of urgency and excellent time management skills
Perform side-work, and any other service opening or service closing duties as required
Maintain expertise on food menu, wine menu, cocktail menu
Familiarity with POS systems and table-side service standards
Receive and process guest’s payments when closing the checks
Setting and maintaining the dining room environment ensuring materials are perfectly clean and organized
Upkeep and clear tables between courses throughout the meal
Support the server assistant as needed to secure service to our guests up to our standards
