Petee's Pie Company, home of "NYC's Absolute Best Pie" according to New York Magazine, is in search of an energetic, enthusiastic person to help us with driving, logistics and task organization in and around Thanksgiving.
This is a short term position spanning from 11.22-11.29. Hours will be variable to include overnights with opportunities for overtime. Having a valid drivers license and being able to drive a box truck is required.
We are fulfilling thousands and thousands of orders of pies for Thanksgiving and we could use extra help doing various tasks such as setting up shelving, loading trucks with product, running errands, spacial organization, site set up and site breakdown. It is an all-purpose position that combines physicality, stamina, organizational abilities and task management. In this position you will be head quartered at out Brooklyn location but help will be needed with various tasks across out three locations,
Responsibilities and requirements include:
-clear communication with coworkers and management
-open availability from 11.22-11.29 and open to working log days/nights
-able to lift 50lbs+
-valid driver’s license and ability to drive a box truck
-attention to detail, ability to follow written directives and ability to delegate
-can do attitude a must!
Wage $25/hour plus overtime and one meal per shift (via Doordash).
