We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our team at our Persian tapas bar and restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in creating an authentic and delightful dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Food Preparation: Execute precise and efficient food preparation according to the restaurant's recipes and standards, ensuring high-quality food served to our guests.

2. Station Management: Manage your designated station effectively, ensuring a smooth flow of orders and timely delivery of dishes.

3. Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a harmonious and efficient kitchen environment. Collaborate with chef to coordinate the preparation of multiple dishes.

4. Quality Control: Maintain strict adherence to quality and sanitation standards. Regularly inspect and taste food for consistency and flavor.

5. Cleanliness: Keep your work station and kitchen areas clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

6. Menu Knowledge: Stay updated on the menu, ingredients, and cooking techniques to provide accurate information to guests and ensure a seamless dining experience.

7. Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in handling diverse tasks and be prepared to assist in various kitchen responsibilities as needed.

8. Stock Maintenance: Assist in maintaining appropriate levels of kitchen supplies, including ingredients, spices, and other necessary items. Notify chef/s of any shortages.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

2. Knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and traditional recipes.

3. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.

4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

5. Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

6. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

7. The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
