About Us:
We are a new all-day café and wine bar in Long Island City, serving third-wave coffee and pastries by day and local beer and wine with small plates by night.
Position:
We’re hiring a Porter/Food Prep team member to help us maintain a smooth and consistent service throughout the day and evening.
You:
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Clear and sanitize tables and counters
Assist in preparing and assembling small plates (no cooking required)
Restock glassware, utensils, and dishes throughout service
Wash and sanitize dishes while maintaining DOH standards
Support baristas and bartenders with water refills, food running, and restocking
Help with receiving and organizing deliveries
Assist with closing duties: trash, recycling, and nightly cleaning tasks
Requirements:
Must have NYC Food Handler’s (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
Previous café, restaurant, and/or catering experience (preferred)
Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
Trustworthy, team-oriented positive attitude
Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods
Flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends
Schedule and Compensation:
Part-time or full-time available
Starting pay: $16
