Assistant Manager Role…
We want great managers that lead by example. Accomplishing high sales and top-notch customer service among our team has to be your main priority.
Additional Assistant Manager Responsibilities…
Ensuring Efficient Daily Shop Operations — Includes opening or closing the shop, managing cash procedures, motivating the team for high sales and productive daily shifts, and solving operational issues.
Developing New Employees — You train all new employees.
Scheduling – Myrtle provides set-schedules for all employees. You deploy the schedule each week, and handle modifications when needed.
Inventory — Inventory is done each week in manageable sections. You work in tandem with Myrtle’s buyer and sales team to enact and manage this system.
E-Comm — Ensure all website and shipping orders reach their destination successfully.
Assist Other Managers – You assist Myrtle’s buyer, HR manager, and bookkeeper with various tasks, i.e.: informing the sales team of upcoming tastings and events, performing weekly and monthly data entry, maintaining a positive workplace, etc.
Off-Site Events (i.e. Tastings) — Soup-to-nuts management of all offsite tasting events.
Required Experience
2 years of proven managerial and sales success in a wines & spirits setting.
Have a dedication to responsible, honest, hard-working performance, as well as leading & motivating by example (professional references required).
Excellent customer service skills and strong floor presence.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
A true enthusiasm for selling wines & spirits, and educating & expanding the palettes of our customers.
Compensation
Starting Rate: $21-23/hr based on leadership experience, plus tips.

Weekly Schedule
Wednesday: 3pm to 10:15pm
Thursday: 10:45am to 4:30pm
Friday: 3pm to 10:15pm
Saturday: 10:45am to 4:30pm
Sunday: 10:45am to 7:45pm
