Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our team. As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas to perfection, following our recipes and standards. You should have a keen eye for detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare pizza dough and toppings according to recipes and portion sizes
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor food quality and ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development as needed
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a busy kitchen
- In-depth knowledge of pizza dough preparation, shaping, and baking techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and passion for creating high-quality dishes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Food handler's certification is a plus
