Job Description:
Flexible hours required, Lunch & Dinner shifts. (Weekend availability)
Must Have minimum 2 years' experience in a busy restaurant/ able to work well under pressure.
Daily tasks include assisting in production, including organization and cleanliness of dried storage, walk-ins, and fridges.
Follows recipes as directed by measuring and combining ingredients, using mixers, blenders, heat sources and other equipment.
Able to follow instruction, guidance and criticism.
Ability to complete tasks within a set time period to a very high consistent standard.
Adhere to strict cleanliness protocol of DOH Standards, NYC Food Certified Handlers a plus.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing 20 – 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to stand for prolong periods of time.
Assist with menu testing and recipe development.
