OddFellows Ice Cream Co. seeks ice cream team members for our Domino Park Scoop Shop in Williamsburg!
Reporting to the Shop Leader, team members ensure every guest experiences the best in everything ice cream. An ideal candidate brings a mixture of self-motivation and love of collaboration, constantly strives to improve processes for better outcomes, and a passion both for craft food and beverage and sharing that with their team and their community.
DIP EXPERTS/SCOOPERS:
Deliver a superlative ice cream experience to every guest that walks through our doors by following all safety and quality standards for consistent excellence;
Handles tasks including scooping ice cream, use a POS cash register, cleaning, organizing, and smiling at every customer that walks through the door
Maintains a working knowledge of our ice cream catalog and ingredients, directing guest to thoughtful choices while minding allergy concerns.
Engages with guest through conversation and answers any questions they may have about flavors or our history
Follows direction from supervisor on duty (Shift Lead or Shop Manager) to ensure timely completion of opening, closing, and side work checklists
Are excited to learn all about ice cream the OddFellows way and share that with everyone around them;
Draws energy from fast-paced, busy service and working in a tight team;
Have open availability including evenings, weekends & holidays;
Share a love of clean and tidy spaces and an eagerness to keep them that way;
Can stand on their feet for long periods of time and perform physically demanding tasks in appropriately-distanced proximity to team members.
MUST BE ABLE TO:
Work nights: we are looking for people to join our closing team, this includes shifts anytime between 3pm-12am.
Work weekends: must be able to works at least two weekend days (Friday-Sunday)
OddFellows offers:
Salary: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour plus tips (with tips you'll make between $16-26 per hour)
