A new sandwich shop in the east village is looking to expand our team. We will be conducting interviews at an open call for prep cooks on Tuesday March 18th, between 1PM and 3PM. We are located at 151 Ave A.
Candidates must have:
Minimum 3 years experience working in a kitchen
Be a team player and able to strive in a fast paced, high pressure kitchen
Have a flexible work schedule and be able to work mornings, nights and weekends.
Be able to lift, move or push objects of up to 50 pounds.
Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:
Prepares menu items following recipes and yield guides, according to standards set by the chef
Restocks ingredients and items that were depleted during the shift
Maintains sanitation standards of the kitchen
Inspects cleanliness and organization of the workspace and workstations, rectifying any deficiencies
