Pay & Benefits:

Hourly rate of $19/hr

About You:

You take pride in making great food.

Duties & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Prepares mise-en-place for kitchen workstations.

May work kitchen Garde manger station.

Maintains accurate prep lists.

Inspects and tastes all of ingredients for quality control.

Presents excellent food for service.

Coordinates pick-ups and plating with other cooks and Chefs.

Communicates with Chefs and other cooks before, during and after service.

Cleans and sanitizes work area and maintains designated cooler space.

Qualifications:

Understanding and experience in restaurant hospitality and fine dining.

1-2+ years professional kitchen experience.

Willingness to learn and retain knowledge.

Good time management and communication skills.

Ability to work in fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.

Understanding of NYC health department codes.
