About Mogador:
Kith partners with Cafe Mogador, a New York City staple, to bring a new, upscale menu and service featuring classics and new perspective on Moroccan inspired Mediterranean cuisine.
Role Overview:
We’re seeking motivated Line Cooks to join our opening team. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in executing our menu with precision and consistency, while maintaining an organized and efficient station.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and stock your station with all necessary supplies.
Cook and plate dishes according to Mogador’s recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain mise en place and keep your station clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service.
Work efficiently under pressure while ensuring consistency and quality.
Follow food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
Collaborate with fellow cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Support the team during prep, service, and breakdown as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience.
Strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow recipes consistently.
Good organizational and cleaning habits while keeping pace during busy service.
Ability to adapt, take direction, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Passion for cooking and eagerness to grow in a professional kitchen.
Nice to Have:
Previous experience with Moroccan, Mediterranean, or Middle Eastern cuisine.
Experience working in a new restaurant opening.
Familiarity with seasonal and ingredient-driven cooking.
Background in high-volume, upscale NYC restaurant environments.
