About Us:

Hudson Valley Steakhouse is a high-end, white tablecloth restaurant known for its exceptional steaks and upscale service. We are currently seeking a skilled, reliable, and professional Line Cook to join our culinary team. Hablar español está bien

Responsibilities:

-Execute dishes accurately and consistently according to chef’s standards

-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen

-Work clean, fast, and with precision during busy shifts

-Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

-Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.

-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.

-Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

-Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.

-Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.

-Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes.

-Participate in menu planning and development, offering suggestions based on seasonal ingredients.

-Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment.

-Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.

-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

-Familiarity with various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

-Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

-A passion for culinary arts with a commitment to high-quality meal preparation.

-Previous experience as a dietary aide or in the food industry is a plus.

-Culinary school diploma or equivalent training is preferred but not required.
