Line Cook Position:
Full-time, 5 days a week. Tuesday- Saturday starting at 3pm daily.
We are a great teaching kitchen, and are looking for somebody humble enough to spend time in the dish pit, and ambitious enough to learn advanced culinary techniques and grow into an essential part of our small team.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Work the line in a small, busy kitchen, side-by-side with the chef
- Prep work
- Butcher fish and poultry regularly
- Shuck oysters
- Make fresh pasta
- Make a diverse array of traditional pastries
- Cleaning
Requirements:
- Professional kitchen experience, or related education is required.
- A passion for cooking, eagerness to learn and an open mind.
- Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with DOH protocols.
- A willingness to be flexible with responsibilities and scheduling when necessary.
Compensation: $18- $22 depending on experience.
There is a guaranteed pay raise after 3 months, with the potential for increased opportunities down the line.
