As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team and lead our kitchen to new heights.

Position Overview:

As the Kitchen Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and consistency. You will lead a dynamic team of culinary professionals, manage kitchen inventory and supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your role will be pivotal in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests and supporting our mission to be the top seafood destination in Brooklyn.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, safety protocols, and best practices.

Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure timely delivery of fresh ingredients.

Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and facilities, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

Collaborate with the head chef and restaurant management to develop and implement new menu items and seasonal specials.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in the kitchen.

Handle kitchen staff scheduling, including shifts and time-off requests.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.

Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to food quality, staff performance, or guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar leadership role within a high-volume restaurant, preferably with seafood or fine dining experience.

Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of seafood preparation and cooking techniques.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.

Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, control costs, and maintain kitchen efficiency.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
