Job Description: As a Host/Hostess at Sistina, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a memorable first impression and setting the tone for their dining experience. Your role will be to ensure guests are greeted warmly, seated promptly, and attended to with care and professionalism. You will work closely with the waitstaff, management, and kitchen team to provide seamless service in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage the reservation system, taking calls and coordinating seating arrangements to ensure efficient guest flow.
-Greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
-Escort guests to their table while ensuring they are comfortable and informed about the restaurant layout.
-Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely seating and food service.
-Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and courteously.
-Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area.
-Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
-Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
-Proficient in OpenTable or reservation systems and basic computer skills.
-Prior experience as a Hostess or in customer service is preferred, especially in a fine dining environment.
-Strong communication skills and a polished, professional appearance.
-Knowledge of restaurant operations and fine dining etiquette.
