Now hiring prep cooks for our busy bakery just off Northern Boulevard in Woodside.
Treat House makes the best Krispie rice treats - hands down. We've evolved from a small store on Manhattan's Upper West Side to a growing business that distributes its treats in all 50 states.
We are looking for detail-oriented, hardworking and responsible people who want to get involved with a large company. WE ARE VERY BUSY AND CAN ONLY HAVE PEOPLE WHO WORK QUICKLY, EFFICIENTLY AND WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL. If you are unwilling and unable to work intensely and under pressure, do not apply for this position.
We need people to help with the preparation of our treats, as well as people to help maintain a clean and hygienic work environment. This job requires a lot of standing and working with your hands. You will have to work quickly, always with a sense of urgency.
Applicants must be able to read basic English in order to do this work.
The ideal candidate MUST be easy to get along, must be a team player, and must play well with others. We have a great team and are looking to add new players as we grow our business.
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:
o Meticulous attention to detail: Our product is very visual and the amazing presentation is critical.
o You must like to work with your hands.
o Must be able to work long stretches of standing.
o Must be a GREAT team player, everyone must be willing to do everything
o You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
o You must have flexibility available.
o All employees have the opportunity to impact individual and company success.
o Knowledge of English and Spanish is a PLUS!
An ideal candidate will have some experience as a cook in commissaries, catering or bakeries.
