Responsibilities:

Menu Development: Lead the creation and execution of an innovative and authentic Peruvian menu that reflects the restaurant's vision and showcases the rich diversity of Peruvian cuisine.

Culinary Leadership: Inspire and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.

Kitchen Operations: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, inventory management, and kitchen hygiene.

Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with local suppliers and vendors to ensure the highest quality and freshness of ingredients.

Cost Control: Implement effective cost-control measures to maximize profitability without compromising on quality or guest satisfaction.

Staff Training: Conduct regular training sessions to develop culinary skills, enhance teamwork, and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with restaurant management and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless and memorable dining experience for guests.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Extensive knowledge and passion for Peruvian cuisine, with a demonstrated ability to innovate and create exceptional dishes.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Proven track record of managing kitchen operations, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.

Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
