Hello Halloumi, a new Mediterranean bakery opening early fall in the West Village, is hiring for both kitchen and front-of-house roles, full-time and part-time. There is no dine-in service (take-out only), so all roles are fast-paced and focused on efficient, high-quality service.

Kitchen Staff (Prep Cook / Line Cook / Supervisor)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, prep work, cooking, and general kitchen duties
NYC Food Handler Certificate preferred, otherwise can be obtained after hiring
BOH Supervisor roles available with added responsibilities and higher pay
—> $16.50/hr, with performance bonuses after 6 months based on individual contribution and overall store performance
Front-of-House (Cashier / Barista)
Hiring cashiers, with barista experience preferred but not required
We will train the right people
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking orders, preparing drinks, handing out food, and keeping the space clean and welcoming
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude are key
—> $12/hr plus tips, with performance bonuses after 3 months based on individual contribution and overall store performance
