Raf's is searching for an experienced General Manager to lead all aspects of service and management. The role occupies an essential leadership and managerial role in the running of our restaurant while bringing warm and generous hospitality to our guests. The Manager will have a strong understanding of our hospitality culture, style of service and our food and beverage offerings, and will work to uphold our standards every day. The Manager will identity and take care of our regulars and VIPs as well as forge connections with new guests to grow our regulars.
In addition to the core role overseeing all aspects of service management at Raf’s, the Manager will also have responsibilities spanning schedule management, team culture, administration, financial reporting, events, compliance, inventory management and general maintenance of the physical space.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all areas of the operations during scheduled shifts which includes on the spot decision making, employee support, guest interaction and upholding company standards and policies
Act as liaison between Front of House employees and the Executive Chef
Direct and supervise HR as set forth in the Company’s employee manual in order to maintain a professional, high performing team, maintaining compliance at all levels
Maintain employee files with up to date HR information
Responsible for compliance with all OSHA, DOH and Company policies
Responsible for managing all necessary repairs including plumbing, HVAC, equipment rental and pest control.
Manage FOH employees, including training, coaching, and
Evaluate and develop processes to maintain and improve performance and
Assess staffing needs, recruit staff, hire in accordance with Company onboarding policies and act as support system for all areas of the
Ensure accurate weekly payroll in accordance with budgets set forth by Ownership
Manage schedule for front of house employees in accordance with budgets set forth by Ownership
Ensure bar program and standards are maintained in accordance with goals set forth by Ownership
Build strong relationships with guests: full interaction with the guest, ensuring that the guest needs are our main focus while enforcing standards for personal performance
Create programs and social media content to impact business and financial success
Prepare daily pre shifts
Lead by passion, respect, integrity, determination, and also excellence
Manage up to five services per week

What to expect :
Your regular schedule will be 5 days a week, 50 hour work week, with the occasional coverage if needed.
