We are bringing the Land Of Enchantment to the County Of Kings, serving authentic New Mexico flavors in North Brooklyn. Local mom & pop owned restaurant practicing equitable pay structure. Our restaurant is famous for our breakfast burrito program and comfort foods of New Mexican cuisine for dinner service.
Dinner Service Line Cook & Prep
This is a 5 days a week, full time position, with a combination of prep and line duties.
Your line cook duties are to prep for service, set up & break down/clean line, be able to handle high volumes in an expedient manner on the line, and to be an all around team player. Must be available weekends.
Your prep cook duties are to determine necessary daily prep projects for each day according to the needs of the line, support the line by bringing prepared foods to line stations & expo, execute all prep duties with utmost attention to detail, and ensuring organization, cleanliness, and freshness of all foods.
Reliable, punctual, & communicative a MUST.
THIS ROLE IS INTENDED TO GROW INTO A MANAGER POSITION for the right candidate. As such, we prioritize someone with managerial experience. Most of our staff are long timers, and would love someone who fits into our culture. Experience a must, knowledge of southwestern food and bilingual (Spanish) a HUGE plus
