Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen team and uphold the high standards of excellence that define our establishment. As the Chef de Cuisine, you will play a pivotal role in crafting our menu, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional dishes that delight our guests. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative culinary professional to showcase their skills and leave a lasting impression on our guests through the art of French cuisine.

Responsibilities:

Develop innovative and authentic French inspired menus that showcase seasonal ingredients, bold flavors, and culinary creativity.

Lead and mentor a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and kitchen assistants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations.

Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting to optimize food costs and minimize waste.

Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute special events, promotions, and menu enhancements to drive business growth.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, upholding sanitation and hygiene standards at all times.

Stay informed about industry trends, culinary techniques, and ingredient sourcing to continually elevate the dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant environment, preferably with a focus on French cuisine.

Extensive knowledge of French culinary traditions, ingredients, and cooking techniques, with a passion for sharing the richness of French culture through food.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of culinary professionals.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering exceptional results.

Creativity and innovation in menu development, with a commitment to excellence in both taste and presentation.

Certification from a culinary institute or equivalent work experience.

Fluent in English (preferred but not required).
