Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Taking customer orders and preparing food to their specifications.
Experience in various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, frying, etc.)
Planning and managing order work orders to ensure all items of an order are finished and served at the same time.
Grilling and garnishing hamburgers and other meats.
Performing simple food preparation tasks such as slicing up meats and vegetables.
Completing orders from steam tables, plating the food, and serving to the customers.
Accepting payments and making change.
Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
Rotating food and stamping the time and date on the food in the coolers.
Cleaning food preparation equipment and areas.
Remain calm under pressure, especially during peak service times.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in food prep or cashier.
Ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift up to 50 lbs.
On-the-job training in food preparation and sanitation techniques.
Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, team player with customer service skills.
Bilingual a plus.
Flexible to work assigned shifts based on business needs. Open for an overnight shift or Morning shift.
