Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and dynamic Restaurant/Floor Manager to lead our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will be the face of our establishment, ensuring every guest has a superior dining experience. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant floor, managing staff, upholding service standards, and maintaining the welcoming and energetic culture that our guests have come to love.

Some Key Responsibilities

Lead and Inspire: Manage, train, and mentor the front-of-house team, including servers, bussers, and hosts, fostering a positive and professional work environment.

Operational Excellence: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing duties, staff scheduling, and inventory management.

Guest Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally to ensure complete satisfaction.

Service Standards: Ensure all service standards are consistently met or exceeded, upholding the high level of quality and hospitality that defines Ama Raw Bar.

Financial Acumen: Assist in managing labor costs, cash handling procedures, and daily reporting.

Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, from table management to unexpected issues, with a calm and effective approach.

Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and a synchronized service flow.

Events: Respond to inquiries, assist guest in all aspects of bookings, & assist in executing event details.

Ambassador of the Brand: Represent Ama Raw Bar with professionalism, passion, and a deep understanding of our menu and brand identity.

Qualifications

Proven experience (2+ years) in a managerial role within a high-volume, full-service restaurant. Experience with seafood/raw bar concepts is a plus.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A true passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.

Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including POS systems, inventory, and labor management.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with grace.

Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
