FLOOR MANAGER
Can you teach, mentor and lead a big wonderful team with your actions and words? Hands on high-volume restaurant is looking for motivated and organized leaders with service skills and wine knowledge.
Our ideal candidates will be:
- Responsible for organizing, managing, and coordinating all of the daily functions within their department, as well as the staff members who carry out these functions;
- Monitoring the service of food and drinks to customers;
- Knowledgeable of labor laws and health compliance regulations, customer satisfaction ;
- Capable of handling sudden situations that arise, such as staff or customer complaints, inventory, staff members;
- Experienced with Open Table and RESY and be able to manage a front desk as well;
- Flexible and comfortable in a variety of positions in a high volume environment.
The candidates must have 5 years prior fine dining experience, in-depth knowledge about Food and Beverage, guest relations and customer service. Excellent communication is essential to build a rapport with guests and ability to lead a team.
The candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Able to communicate clearly and possess a good command of verbal and written English.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills and ability to understand and respond to individual guests needs and requirements.
- A genuine interest and understanding in food and drink/wine and cocktail knowledge is essential.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Problem solving skills, attention to details.
- Ability to think on your feet and under pressure whilst maintaining a positive outlook.
- Able to organize time effectively, plan forward and prioritize tasks to ensure work load is balanced and urgent situations are dealt with immediately - multitasking.
- Ability to work as part of a small team and independently and use initiative
