Join our team! We are a renowned restaurant on the Upper East Side seeking an experienced Floor Manager with a minimum of three years of Manhattan restaurant experience. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills, a deep commitment to customer satisfaction, and a comprehensive understanding of health and safety protocols.

Position: Restaurant Floor Manager (Manhattan)

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in Manhattan restaurants

Must hold a valid health department permit

Strong understanding of health and safety protocols

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

Welcome and seat guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience from start to finish

Attend to guest needs and resolve any issues to guarantee customer satisfaction—everyone leaves happy

Coordination and Communication:

Serve as a liaison between Front of House (FOH), Kitchen, and Back of House (BOH) teams

Maintain seamless operations across all departments

Quality Control:

Conduct regular checks on food quality, preparation standards, labeling, expiration dates, and cleanliness

Maintain order in prep rooms, walk-in coolers, kitchen stations, and storage shelves

Facility Management:

Oversee the restaurant’s ambiance and cleanliness in all areas, including outdoor spaces, glasshouse, bathrooms, and stairways

Ensure optimal lighting, temperature, and seating arrangements for a comfortable environment

Operational Duties:

Open and close the restaurant on time

Oversee daily restaurant setup to meet operational standards

Technical Troubleshooting:

Troubleshoot systems such as OpenTable, Breadcrumb, music, printers, and phones

Additional Support:

Assist with the roles of other staff members (e.g., server, food runner) as needed

Monitor delivery personnel for timeliness, uniform adherence, bike regulations, and professionalism

Schedule: 40-50 hours per week
